A Deposit is payable, as stipulated by the Tenant Fees Act 2019 at five weeks for Tenancies under £50,000.00 per annum and at six weeks for those over the annual threshold. Unless otherwise specified, the Deposit will be registered with the DPS Custodial Scheme.
Onslows will charge other fees as permitted by the Tenant Fees Act 2019 including;
- £60.00 inc VAT for any addendum drawn up to include any novation of the contract or introduction of a new or replacement Tenant. - Interest of 3% above the Bank of England base will be payable on all late rent that falls 14 days overdue. - For the loss of any keys or security devices, you will be charged the full cost of replacement.
For Non-Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements or Non-Licences, you will be charged £250.00 inc VAT per person (applicable for the first four Tenants only), the fee will cover our duties in introducing you to the Tenancy, including but not limited to; conducting viewings, negotiations, arranging and verifying references, performing Right to Rent Checks where applicable and finalising the contracts.
The Onslows Client Money Protection Scheme is provided by Propertymark. We are a member of The Property Ombudsmen and are subject to its strict codes of practice and redress scheme and also ARLA Propertymark. Do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
